My Role in the Club
Founded the Accounting Club in 2022 to foster a deeper understanding of the accounting profession among students, guiding them towards informed career choices. Developed and delivered engagement presentations on auditing, career paths in accounting, LinkedIn strategies, and recruiting for internships. Empowered the officers to create additional educational content.
Inspired numerous students to secure internships through target workshops on resume-building, interviewing skills, networking strategies, and recruitment insights. Managed a team of 10 student officers, prioritizing both organizational and personal goals while promoting physical and mental well-being.
Expanded the networks of members and officers through dedicated networking events and asynchronous platforms like Slack, fostering lasting connections. Successfully and judiciously administered a budget exceeding $4,000 to deliver high-quality events and initiatives.
